With the holidays upon us, I decided to ask Anna to get another buzzed nape hairstyle. She agreed and decided to have it done when she had her highlights done on December 23.
I joined Anna at the salon and was happy when I heard her ask Mimi to cut the back with the buzzer like she did last time.
I really thought we were getting a nice clippered nape, However, Mimi created more of a stacked nape, than a buzzed nape. After blow drying, I felt her hair still looked pretty good.
Mimi felt the front was too long, and told Anna that she wanted to cut the front a little shorter. Before I could object, Anna said OK, and Mimi took a fairly large chunk off.
Admittedly, at first, I wasn't thrilled with the end result. The steep angle was gone, and the back was stacked, and not really buzzed. But after I texted with my good friend "Running With Scissors" he opened my eyes and made me realize that it was a perfectly stacked bob. After taking a good hard look at it, I realized that it was a nice cut, and a buzzed nape would probably be too short for the cold NJ winters. So without further ado,I proudly present Anna's Christmas Haircut.
