Anna & I are happy to report that power has been restored to our home. I had hoped to keep you all updated, but shortly after our power went out, our wi-fi service provider went down too. The cause of our issues were large trees that took down power wires.

The lack of power also caused many gas stations to close, leaving long lines at the ones that were open. I spent roughly an hour and a half standing in line to fill up my fuel cans. If I were to stay on line to fill my car, the wait was anywhere from 2 to 3 hours.
Now that power is back, we are amazed at the show of support the hair community has shown us. So many have e-mailed us, but I wanted to send a special thanks to CoolBobs blog for mentioning us, my good friend Running With Scissors for his text messages of support and the anonymous contributor to our PayPal account with his simple message of "hoping this helps in your time of need"
Thank you all for your support. It's been very stressful throwing out all of our food that spoiled and standing in long lines to replace it, for there are still a lot of areas without power.
To help relieve some of the stress, I convinced Anna to go to Mimi to get her hair styled, so it would help return some normalcy to her life. I got the idea after seeing this picture that someone e-mailed me.
