I decided to take the reins this time and vent about my latest haircut. Simply put, I'm really not happy with it.
Followers of this blog know that I tend to go in stages with both long hair and short hair. Recently, I've been going to Mimi, who's been giving me an angled bob that is long in the front, and buzzed in the back. I really like the longer layers up front and how they frame my face, and Enzo loves the buzzed back. Even my Mom loves the way Mimi blows out my hair.
So when I ventured to her salon on Saturday, I expected to get the same great cut that I've been getting since I stated going to her. Instead, something went wrong. Simply put I wanted a trim, and she cut too much off. I told her that I needed a trim and wanted the back buzzed, and the dead ends trimmed all the way around. She started by sectioning my hair and buzzing the back like she always does, and then started trimming the sides. I wasn't really paying attention to what she was doing, and honestly, I never really do, so it wasn't until she was finished that I realized that she had cut my long layers shorter and my hair no longer looks angled. When I went home, I voiced my discontent to Enzo. He could see that I was upset and knew better to leave me alone. Late last night, I mentioned to him that I was surprised that he didn't take any photos. I should have kept my mouth shut, for as soon as I said it, he got the camera out. I really wasn't in the mood to take pictures, but figured I'd let him take some. After sleeping on it, I decided to use the photos and write the blog myself. Sorry the pictures aren't great, but I just wasn't in the mood.
