When I woke up this morning, I had no idea what would happen in the Anna & Enzo Hairworld. I was frustrated with the situation and posted my discontent with Anna's hair and her lack of direction and communication as to what she was going to do with her hair. I was so disenchanted, that I went back to bed after posting the blog.
I got out of bed around 9am and met Anna in the kitchen, where she asked me if I could keep an eye on our daughter this morning. I told her that it wouldn't be a problem and asked her what she needed to do. She told me that she wanted to get her hair done since she already had the appointment with Lorraine.
I then asked if she knew how she was going to get her hair done, to which she replied that she'd figure it out by the time she got there. At that point, I knew this wasn't going to be a good cut.
Anna left the house a short while later, and I waited for her to return.
The waiting was hell. Each minute was agonizing... wondering what was going on at the salon.
I tried not to get my hopes up, in the event that this haircut wouldn't be good, but I couldn't help myself for hoping for a nice buzzed nape. I'm sure there's a few guys that can relate.
In what seemed like an eternity after Anna left the house. I heard the garage door open. At this point, I' already convinced that I won;t like her hair, so I position myself at the far end of the house. I figure there's no need to rush to the door to be disappointed, so I wait for her to reach me.
Wow...Do I feel stupid. I should have known she wouldn't let me down. She's the best.
